If you have had success with a product that reduces stretchmarks after they happen I’d love to hear about it. I know there is no "magic cream" to make them disappear but I also know their appearance can be reduced.
I am not looking for products that prevent stretchmarks but that reduce their appearance after they already exist. Prevention tips are not helpful but I am asking for people’s accounts of success with products that reduce the appearance of already existing marks.

I’m 6 months and I have yet to have 1 stretchmark (knocks on wood). I use two things daily : Palmers Cocoa Butter stretch mark cream and CVS(brand) 100% Cocoa Butter stick. Hope this helps!

A friend had a stent inserted to open a blocked artery to the heart. What is the success rate and prognosis for a patient following this procedure?

Coronary Artery Stenting is an elective procedure used to open narrowed or closed arteries of the heart with a little device called a stent. The stent holds the vessel walls open and allows for blood flow to return. When a stent is placed, a patient needs to do certain things that will increase the success rate of the procedure. The success rate for stents is over 98%.
1) There are medications that thin the blood and work on the platelets so the blood flows through the arteries easily. Most patients are also placed on statins that decrease the lipids (fats) and cholesterol in the blood.
2) Diet: patients are started on low fat diets to decrease the amount of fat they eat. Less fat in the mouth, less fat in the blood. Losing weight is a good idea. The heart doesn’t have to work so hard when there is less fat in the body.
3) Exercise. Exercise strengthens the body and the heart.

I have big stretch marks on my sides, and little ones on my stomach and legs. Has anyone had success with getting rid of them. Would love a tummy tuck, but of course it cost to much. So, any ideas that have worked for you or someone you know would be greatly appreciated.

I had what I thought of at the time as horrible stretch marks on my thighs & my belly, but I put cocoa butter & Lubriderm lotion & any other lotion that I could get my hands on on them every day for a long time & eventually they went away–I can’t tell you how long this took, could have been monthes, bould have been years, sorry but I lost my short-term memory a couple years ago, but I do remember that I had them & now they;re gone, so it worked, eventually!
